Yo,
If your talking memories, PALs, etc., the dash number
usually represents the speed in nS, although you might
have to interpret how many zeros to add. For example:
-45 on a newish memory chip means 45nS access time. On
an older mem IC it may mean 450nS.
On microprocessors you're hosed. The dash number could
mean anything. Best to check the datasheet.
