[sdiy] Win Sound programming (slightly OT)

Hey all,

I'm concidering adding realtime sound monitoring to
this little Walsh app, but I'm having a dickens of a
time getting info on how to write a wave file using
the windows API. Can anyone point me to a good source
of info? I can usually find what I need, but this
whole sound thing seems to be rather esoteric.
