[sdiy] Limited Walsh

Ok, so I get that if you want to make pretty much *any* waveform
with Walsh alone, then the bigger the better. Just like using
nothing but a sine series to do this.
I also get that the Walsh system tends to be harmonic rich so I
wonder what opinions there might be about building a limited
Walsh generator that would be used in a synth system that has
filters. That is, how useful would say 4, 6 or 8 Walsh knobs be
if the resulting signal is then filtered? How many of us
wouldn't do that anyway? Heck, maybe even as few as 3? I wonder
how much of the upper harmonic limiting work can be done with
filters we already have instead of using 32 or more Walsh outputs
to emulate the same harmonic reduction?
Great thread, thanks all.
