Don't forget to have a look at Tony Allgoods "Oakley" modular
stuff too.  You can check out his manuals online before you decide
to buy.  His boards are very good quality and the prices very reasonable
(the word cheap might give the wrong impression).
  
You have the choice of whether to order Schaeffer front panels or 
make your own, and they're designed to match MOTM.  Unlike
PAiA, the pots are mounted on the circuit boards, so the wiring is
simpler and tidier.
