[sdiy] CAD conversion freeware proggies

Just wondering if anyone has any format conversion proggies that are freeware/shareware..

I need one to be able to convert the scanned image of a tr606 front panel so that I can mill the labeling into the front panel..

I need to convert a bmp or jpeg or whatever into some *decent* vector format such as DXF..

Also, too, I was looking to find the info for this too so I can get some of the boards for the sh-5 scanned in with bmp and then converted to vector format so I can mill some new boards and perhaps do a clone... I also would be willing to post the CNC program for posterity if anyone feels like they want to give the cnc mill engraving a try or whatever... ;)
