[sdiy] 4017 sequencer update... success!!! ? !!

Yes, those instructions helped in the extreme! the + inputs were actually
already grounded so that one was easy, then simply removing those +5v
connections and rerouting a couple things has produced a very nice cv
output. here's my question... i seem to be getting fairly low voltages at
the outputs. I rigged up the range switch so it would just be at the 10v
setting (now that I understand what's going on there!!) but the max cv
output seems to be only about +2.5 V, it was even less in the way i had it
originally routed, using the +5v max cv output configuration, close to like
+1v max. I actually don't mind this because for my purposes i don't really
need the sequencer to have a massive octave range, what I am a little
concerned about is the gate output which i would expect to be at +5 v pulses
for triggering EG's and such. it's also down around +2.5 to +3v, any ideas?
or is this normal for this sequencer?
