Hi guys,
I know there are many designs out there for voltage controlled panners
and even some built into monosynths, but has anyone actually
experimented with stereo analog synthesizers? i use Pro Tools when I
make music and I very often track analog sequences twice, once for the
left side and once for the right. The modulation causes really wide
perspectives. Would it be totally off the wall to make a synth with 2
independant signal paths?
I have even used the Wiard Borg filter to make a digital track sound
more organic by feeding it through the filter twice and hard panning
them.
obviously you can use the same envelope for both sides, but what about
exponential converters? Would two oscillators work from one exponential
converter? How would you trim them to be in tune? Just something I have
thought about for a while now...anyone?
