Based on your subject line, I'd guess that what you actually meant was:

"I was wondering if the fatman MIDI synth is compatible with my Yamaha dx7
(algorithm). If it isn't what is it compatible with?"

...as in "Can I use a DX7 to control a FatMan". The answer to that is Yes,
you can. Any keyboard that has a MIDI out socket kan be used to control
the FatMan.

If you meant something else, I think you have to try again :-)
