[sdiy] Way OT: collapsing Mac email client

Should I get a lot of reactions off list, I'll post one (1) review.
And oh yeah, let's NOT start a discussion on email clients here,
there other lists for that. And please do not take this mail
as a trigger to discuss this lists features, as it is a perfect list.

I've just opened a second pop-account solely for the purpose
of reading lists. Now I'm looking for a second email client,
again, solely to read lists. This email client should have these
features:
- It runs on Mac OS 8.6
- It can't be microsoft.
- It sends plain text.

but most important:
- It should be able to *collapse email treads* like newsreaders can.
So a thread should look like one entry, that I can open, to see
the emails in that thread, preferably cascaded.

I hope someone can point me to a client that has this feature.
I've been testing a few clients that were said to be 'powerful'
but I haven't found one that serves this particular need.
