[sdiy] Thoughts on MIDI/DIN to analog sequencer synch

I think that's right. I have spent hours stressing out about that one myself.
Thing is, when you reset a sequencer it sits at step 1. Then the first pulse
you send steps it to 2. So in the case of my ARP sequencer (which I step from
the trigger out on my TR-909), I am about to start a recording and I hit reset,
then whent the song starts the first note is step 2. This totally pisses me off
and I end up making the whole musical phrase 1 note to the right.
So I raise the question.... why not wire the panel so that the sequencer resets
to the last step insted of the first?
If you are synching to MIDI and/or DIN Grant's way will work really well.
