Hello DIY'ers!

I have also recently joined the list and hope I have not pushed the
newbie quotient of the list over the top. I am a complete greenhorn
with respect to building my own circuits or kits, but a recent prize
I won in Paul Schreiber's Synthesis Technology web site redesign contest
has me caught up in the idea of creating some custom panels with various
circuits. I used to do some soldering at a university where I worked so
I think I can do that, I just have to read EPFM to learn about schematics
and so forth.

I would like to publicly thank Tony Allgood for his kindness and help
in answering my questions about the Oakley modules, some of which I hope
to build!

I am a graphics and web design guy. Should anyone need such work done, I
am willing to trade this kind of work for DIY related work. Of course,
I'd work for money too! I am presently redesigning the front panel
graphics
for a synth made by well known manufacturer, and one of the things that
gets
me going about DIY stuff is being able to create my own interface graphics.
I recently met somebody that does silkscreening and have a friend at a
University who has a drill press and can likely get us into the machine
shop. A punch press is available there, so I think I have the front panel
details ironed out at least!

I have a bunch of questions that I think I'll stick in a seperate email.

Best wishes to all on the list and may your DIY projects work nicely
when the juice first flows through them!
