[sdiy] organ drum board into piezo drum unit?

hello do-it-yourselfers.  myself needs some help!

i have a baldwin funmachine that really is alot of
fun, but i would like to take the analog drum board
out and modify it to accept triggers (im guessing from
piezo pads would be the easiest).  does anyone know of
online resources or have tips for a modification of
this nature?  any help is greatly appreciated.
