I sure did! Which makes it even more a pity not to complete it.

Tell you what... if you figure out a way to get the input amps working
I'll gladly make the whole article available including circuit layouts
and all.
How about it? I believe I've stared too long at the input amp
circuitry, and although the schematic is still wrong (I can't exactly
figure out why as I've studied pin layouts/descriptions of the ICs
used, but I'll take a look again) I can't see in practical terms what
may be wrong with the actual PCB.
I could really use some practical help here.
