[sdiy] : "What" compressor - slightly OT

Hi list

I am a lurker from Johannesburg and have recently built the What 
compressor designed by David Thomas. I know there is some interest on 
the list in this line.

This little guy sounds very good and is fairly easy to do. I have 
only tried it on voice, the pre-conditioning network in the side 
chain really helping to bring out those lovely back-of-the-throat 
tones. I'm not sure what it would sound like on an instrument, but I 
have a feeling it would really work on a sax.

I've designed a mono PCB so if anyone would like this, let me know.
