Hi all,
Simple question: The oakley tb3030 runs from a 15v ac wall wart, so an
internal powersupply for it would essentially be a small transformer, and
thats it (as the rectifier, smoothing, regulation etc, is all on the tb3030
board).
So rather than paying £15 for a wall wart, i can pay £6 for a small
transformer, right?
The reason i'm asking as the £9 i will save could actually be the difference
between finishing the project now, or waiting another month (or trying to
set up scalieing by ear, as i can't afford a multimeter)
Just as long as i am sensible with the mains power (possibly place it in a
plastic case within the rackmount).
thanks for any help
