[sdiy] DIY PCBs

Paul;

take a look at http://www.g3ycc.karoo.net/pcb.htm it's a useful
how-to/where-from page for PCB DIYers (may be a bit out of date on
pricing). The comment at the bottom about an alternative to ferric chloride
struck me as a good idea. FeCl really is nasty stuff - messy and a bugger to
get rid of.

One of the diy faqs has a section on PCB materials (not sure which one -
comp.arch.hobbyist is always a good one to start with).

As for etch tank/trays etc, use cat litter trays picked up from a local pet
shop for a couple of quid. They work just fine.

Dear all,

 The time has come, Ive had enough of stripboard to last me a life time..
so I want to start makeing my own PCBs, BUT I need some advice..
I live in the UK, I want to get the bits I need to do my own PCBs,

I know I need a UV box, and an etch tank what else do I need?
And where can I get them from, at a decent price...

Paul
