My $.02 (US): The ASM-1 would be an excellent project
as well as an excellent musical instrument when you're
finished. For me, hands on has worked the best. Build
it. You will probably encounter problems. This list
is the place to ask the questions as they come up.
The building and troubleshooting of such a project will
be it's own teacher. Lurk here too, I find most if not
all of the subjects interesting and educational for me
whether they apply directly to my projects or not. So
read it all. This has been a great "classroom" for me
as I imagine it has been for many.
And I thank all of my wonderful teachers here, yet again!
