[sdiy] enclosure question

Hi Bob

(its probably too late but...)

www.sescom.com makes some nice rack enclosures... with depths of 5",
7" and 10" (or deeper) and the standard 1U, 2U...etc.  They are made of
flat panels with aluminum extrusions..  Rack ears are an integral part of the
enclosure.

You slip a 4-40 nut into the rails and you can mount PCBs, subpanels, etc...
inside with no screws protruding from the panels.  I've built two synth units
in them. They are not too expensive compared to front panel + chassis box +
labor (you WILL work harder doing it your way)
