[Atom 'Smasher']

a few years ago, i was driving past one of the _____ University computer
labs, and next to the dumpster was a 6 foot tall Digital (brand) rack....
the kind that costs about $1500 new.

i came back about an hour later, with an extra pair of hands, strapped it
to my roof-rack, and i'm still making good use of it.

like most large universities, they're not supposed to throw *ANYTHING* in
the garbage... it's all supposed to go to the 'surplus' center, where they
sell it for $5 (regardless of what it is). i have no idea how the rack got
next to the dumpster.... either someone fucked up, or someone planned on
picking it up later.
