yes theo that's the schematic, thanks a lot for the tip as well.  I was
curious actually looking it over why you need the transistor and second 4093
set up at all,  why you couldn't just tap off a gate signal from the CV
pulses before they go through the pots.  And on that topic why do you need
the op amps to buffer the CV output.  I'm mostly asking because of what I
know I'll learn from the answer than to simplify the schematic, but that
wouldn't be so bad either
