Unfortunate for our EU DIY friends.

As I understand it, it is the responsibility of the consumer not to buy
non-CE marked items. That is, you can still sell to the EU with a non-CE
marked item, but they are not supposed to buy it.

This only works for small volumes of course, but otherwise none of the small
companies could sell to the EU at all.
