On KLM-379 VR3 - overall tune high VR4 - mid tuning VR5 - overall tune low Turn the "stretch" switch to Normal, turn "Assign Mode" switch to 2 (only one oscillator will play unles playing more than one key at a time, which we will not do now). Adjust VR3 so the higher octaves are at the rightgap from one note to the one at the higher octave (i.e C3, C4, C5, C6 should be almost exactly one octave from one another). Disregard the obsolute tuning (i.e A should not be at 440Hz necessarily). Adjust VR5 so the lower octaves are at the rightgap from one note to the one at the higher octave (i.e C0, C1, C2, C3 should be almost exactly one octave from one another). Disregard the absolute tuning (i.e A should not be at 440Hz necessarily). Fine tune VR3 and VR5, as changing VR3 does affect the lower octaves a bit, and vice versa. Once you get the whole keyboard scale correct, adjust VR4 to get 440Hz at A (adjusting absolute tuning).
