I use a few different suppliers. Mouser and Digi-Key are pretty much the same as far as I know. I use Mouser because I heard of them first; their customer service is also superb. For some stuff I use allelectronics.com and unicornelectronics.com because they're cheaper (and Unicorn has free shipping on orders over $20), but I've included Mouser part numbers on most things for convenience. If something is available at another, cheaper place, I'll state ALL (Allelectronics) or UNI (Unicorn) and give their prices. Prices in $.10/100 format mean ten cents each if you order 100, not 100 for 10 cents. 

Resistors: I get ammo packs of resistors from Mouser. You can get 10 packs of different values, w/ 1000 in each pack, for $4.75 each.  That's less than half a cent per. And, no matter what happens in your life, you know you've got the 750k situation covered! Here are the prices for carbon, metal film, and smaller amounts:
