The STXG window cannot be moved or rezized, on
the title bar is a standard close box to remove
the window. Below this a line of Menu headings
click on a title to open a menu, each option
corresponds to a different parameter page which
can be viewed in the main area of the window.
Every page will display a number of available
parameters, to edit click inside the value boxes
right button increases value the left decreases.

STXG MENU

Credits
Display the Splash screen with extra details.

Help
Loads this file to view.

Refresh
Allows you to send the parameter edits to the
midi output port, the dialogue box used to decide
which parameters to send is described in the
PARAMETER SELECTOR section.

FILE MENU

Save .XGE
You can save your edits in .XGE format which are
small files containing just the parameters data
bytes. see PARAMETER SELECTOR.

Open .XGE
Load a previously
saved .XGE format file. see PARAMETER SELECTOR

Save .MID
You can save your edits in .MID format which is a
Standard midi file and can be used by other 
applications. see PARAMETER SELECTOR.

SYSTEM MENU

Master
The options available are Master tune, Master
volume, and Transpose.

XG On/Reset Initializes
all the parameters in the XG system includes
software and synths.

Drum Reset
Initializes all Drum parameters in the XG system
includes software and synths.

PART MENU

Multi Mixer
Displays all 16 Multi-parts with corresponding
Numbers Names, Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, and
Variation settings. Clicking on the Parts Number
with the right mouse will take you to the
revlivent 'Part Editor'page.
see PARTNAME dialog box.

Drum setup
There is an octave selector at the top of the
page the current number is highlighted. Each note
has a corresponding Name,Volume, Pan, Rev, Cho,
and Vari parameter. Clicking on the Name will
open a dialog box which contains:
Pitch Corse/fine, Filter Cutoff/Resonance,
Amplifier Attack/Decay 1/Deacy 2, settings.

A/D Part
If your XG synth has this facillity then you can
control the A/D Inputs Mic input. Vol, Pan, Rev,
Cho, Vari, Receive switches, and Alternative
controllers.

MULTI MENU

Part Editor  
This page contains all the main parameters for a
specific part there is a Part selector in the top
right, if you click on the name the PARTNAME box
will be opened.

Controllers
On the left is a slider will corresponds to the
current controller i.e Modulation, Pitch Bend use
the radio buttons to change controller.

Switches
A filled circle represents ON, empty equals OFF.
These are the receive switches i.e Rcv PAN this
will tell the synths to receive Control Change
Pan messages or not.

FX MENU

Reverb
This page contains the parameters for the effect
type selected i.e Hall 1 clicking this box will
open the FX SELECTOR box.

Chorus
See above.

Variation
See above. Note if the Vari effect has Delay 
settings a specific box will open you can click
on the value to inc/decin small amounts or use
the [<<][>>]boxes for large.

PARAMETER SELECTOR
This dialog box depends what its for there are
four options:

System
All parameters in editor. (for midi files only
the system and A/D Part are used)

Drum Setup
Only the drum parts parameters are used.

FX Setup
The parameters from the Reverb, Chorus, and 
Variation effect sections.

Multi-Part
The dialog box will change into a Part selector
1~16 the current parts number will be highlite.

PARTNAME
The display shows the current group and voice,
and a table for selecting voices from the group 
clicking on the group box will open a menu to
change the group. The current parts name can be
found at the bottom of the page if you click the
Cancel button no changes will be made else click
Keep.

FX SELECTOR
The display shows a table of all the FX Types
shaded options are unavailable to current effect,
click cancel to exit without changes or select a
FX type.
