GalaxiesMerge sharing about my CS80

2009-01-01 by Galaxies Merge

Hi folks,

When I first saw the CS80 in late 1979 I knew that was the one --- so I got one in the early 80's and I still have it today. I have been extremely fortunate as my instrument has been very, very stable with no problems at all. Also, I think it does sound different to other CS80's I've heard or played on (maybe that's why Vangelis owned so many!).

After a few years of playing it in various ways I came up with a sound setup that I think takes fairly full advantage of the instruments unique character --- so I'm thinking about posting a YouTube video demo'ing my unit the way I have it setup. If anyone's interested in me doing that please let me know :)

Maybe, as a community, we can post videos demo's so folks get a broader appreciation than the few that are up on YouTube now.

Wishing everyone a great 2009.

Cheers!

Hi,

I'm working on it --- I set up a video camera and am testing out the
process of recording and then converting the recording into online
video --- it requires some tweaking! It should be up soon (a couple
of days - taking a bit longer than I had thought). I will update soon :)

Thank you!
