Hi Damon,
If you have the power supply ok and no tantalum caps fauty,
don“t forget to check the pots because they usually make the Odys dead in some
cases.
Because the age of these instruments, the
resistance of the slide pots comes to get altered and it causes a lot
of different problems.
Thanks and good luck!

Odyssey Rev 3 service info
Hi, thanks for the info! I would definitely like to see a link to
the service manual!
I'm glad to hear that odysseys are fairly simple to
service; they look so simple and clearly laid out inside! I just want to
make sure I'm testing the right locations and not shorting anything
out.
Thanks again for your help, I appreciate it!
Damon

Hello,
I'll send you a link to a service manual in another
mail.
I find Odysseys quite easy to service.
First thing you
should do is to remove all the power connectors from the
three boards and
see if the power supply puts out the required +15/-15
volts then. If it
doesn't the supply is the problem. If the +15/-15 volts
are there probably
one of the boards has faulty tantalum caps.
