MOTM knobs...

1999-07-12 by jmw/cmu

What is the brand of knobs used on MOTM equipment?

I'd like to get the same style knobs only smaller - 1/2" O.D.

I've built 2 Blacet Dark Star Chaos PCB's & mounted both of them
on a 2 unit MOTM size lucite panel - (tre' futuristique!) with
jacks on the bottom in MOTM fashion.

Thanks,

jmw

The knobs are made by Alco and do in fact come in a smaller size. The new
Moogerfooger modules utilize both sizes. The link was posted on Analog
Heaven last week, but I don't have it any more.

Alco PKES series. Newark, Allied have them.

Or, if you just need a few and don't mind paying twice what they are worth,
Radio Shack carries the exact sme style knob in the smaller diameter. I
replaced those blue things that come on the PAiA vocoder with them.
