to all :

a few days ago, folks were discussing "koan" and some other pc composing 
software.
one i didn`t see mentioned was "tangent"

my friend, jack deckard ( programmer of "s.a.c." from the old c64 days, a 
former amiga user and now "on the dark side" using wintel ), recommended it 
to me highly.
now, my pc is a clunky old 486 with isa bus and win3.1 without a midi 
interface ( in fact, used only for email / web as i use amiga`s and c64 for 
my limited midi purposes ) so i can`t check this out. if someone could give 
it a look and post any comments about it, i would be most grateful !
