Finally...my lucky day!

Finally after two and a half years of frustrating bidding, Ive scored my SDSV brain and pads, and for less than half my bid price for a brain alone!!!
red pads/brain 400 inc shipping
my hands are now sweating waiting to touch them ;-)

Saw those on Ebay yesterday, you got a pretty good deal in the current market. The musicaid SDSV mysteriously vanished yesterday....

. Welcome to the sdsv club . It´s a good price nowadays, and red pads with white surface are really cool. Enjoy them !

Keep it, and keep it warm! The chances to get one are getting less every day. The price is cool and about the money I spend for my very first SDSV in 2003

First in 2003?! I consider you more and more crazy for each passing day.
:) I could've sworn you being a Simmons addict since at least the mid
90's. You sure have bought a lot in just eight years!

I think I got my first SDS-V in '98 or '99...

I got my first SDSV flyer in 1983 in London at the age of 13. 20 years later, on a toilet somewhere in Cologne in a recording studio reading a vintage Modern Drummer magazine (showing a red Ludwig kit with 2 red/black SDSV pads on the right; if somebody knows the number of that particular issue: Please let me know) I thought it was about time to become an Ebay user. That's the true story but that should also be enough private stories for the moment :-P
And no, I don't consider myself being crazy at all.

Probably I should mention that I have lost my very first SDSV auction I bid on. Mint, white, beautiful. Some kind of trauma, although afterwards I've heard that at least one pad broke during the delivery from Switzerland to the US

Thanks guys, another piece of Simmons history to give a good home too. Im gonna have to get a bigger house;-)
or set up a UK version of the simmonsmuseum!
im not sure if it has the cables and stands but at that price im not too worried, I can makeup or aquire suitable stands/cables easy enough.
Was very surprised at the final price, ive been upping my top bid by £20 every time Ive been outbid, so was pleasently surprised..maybe the world downturn has killed the crazy prices for a while?

Vemia-time... People might save up for other goodies. *nudge, nudge*
