Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Hi all,

I'm interested in learning a little more about Simmons Drum Huggers. 
When I picked up my SDS1000 the guy chucked in a slave unit. I
believe 
I need to get hold of a 'master' unit to be able to use this. What
sort 
of sounds do these produce? And how are they triggered, or should I
say 
what are they triggered through? Is it worth keeping hold of and
trying 
to find the master and more slave pads or should I move it on to 
someone who could make more use of it?
