(another) hint of things coming....

(another) hint of things coming....

2008-03-12 by (i think you can figure that out)

I've posted a photo (last one in the MISC folder) entitled 'joy' that
gives you an idea of something you'll be seeing in a few months.

FYI, it's got eight different outputs, four of which you've never seen
in a module of this type b4.

Joysticks are welcome.

Do they feel pretty good? It's so hard to find reasonably-priced
joystick assemblies that have a nice feel to them!

These guys feel great. The lever rotates on a chromed ball-joint -
super smooth, the travel is easily 10 degrees more than almost any other I've found plus the handle is nicely machined spun aluminum. I
looked for a few weeks for the best fit. The newer type are
definitely cool because they are tiny (about .6 inches square), some
have z axis switches in the handles, but a handle
solution is a problem (they just come with a stub 10mm x 2mm dia) and nobody stocks the non-self centering lever type (the springs in the new generation stick controller cannot be removed without damaging the unit).

No. These do not return the to center. The new type (which this
isn't) return to center.

I'm not sure that qualifies as a denial.
