Digital BW, The Print

I have ordered, from MIS, the set of cartridges Clayton Jones
suggested as a way of controlling tones with Epson R220. By mistke, I
ordered, for the black position, cart R2-T0481-K instead of the one
Clayton recommended (R2-T0402-K). Since MIS has already sent the
goods, my question is: can I use the cart I ordered? Also, am I right
in assuming the ink (Ebony Matte Black) is the same in both carts?

Sorry, no.  The R2-T0481-PK cart is PK ink, used with glossy papers. 
The R2-T0402-K (without the P) is MK (Eboni) meant for matte papers.

If you are using matte paper you'll need to order the 0402 cart.
