OPM -2200 profile for black ink only.

OPM -2200 profile for black ink only.

2003-04-03 by Antonis Ricos

I have uploaded a profile that uses only the black ink in the 2200. It is meant
for troubleshooting purposes only (to isolate the black jet). Otherwise the
highlight dots are too big for photographic-quality print (which is why a normal
profile uses at least the gray ink on top of the black).

It's in our files section under the "IJC and OPM" folder - or copy and paste the
following address to your browser:

Hi Antonis,
I recently tested OPM with my 2200 and got very promising initial
results--except that I, too, have that banding/streaking problem in
100% black areas.

I'd like to check on the black output of my 2200, so your
black-only profile would be useful. However I cannot initiate the
profile download, although it does appear on the group's file list.
Do you know what the problem is, or can you suggest an
alternate source for that profile?

Thanks.

Phil

Phil,

that sounds like a Yahoo problem - works fine when I try to download. You
may want to try at a different time, or from another ISP etc.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
