I have to admitt hardly ever. When I see banding then I do it, but it never seems off much at all. Banding seems to come more from nozzle performance for me. Even a check might show a clean pattern, then a nozzle clean and the banding will be gone. Biggest problem has been very poor OEM 9800 nozzle performance, extremely poor.
