dtxpress recording problem

dtxpress recording problem

2002-02-03 by dpinder123

Hi Everyone

I am attempting to record using dtxpress module but once played back
all I'm getting is the click track. If I shut off the click track
nothing is coming through the headphones. I've worked through the
instructions ~ 6 times. The module states it's recording but when I
click the "start" button after a recording--click track is all I'm
hearing. It's probably a rookie error but I'm very frustrated. I
must have "monkeyed" something up in the settings but really don't
want to use the factory default setting (since I've created a few
neat kits). If anyone has an idea what the problem might be please
let me know.

Are you attempting to record "within" the module, or
are fou recording to an external device?

Told you it would be a rookie error. I had the drums on mute so was
recording by muting the drums on playback---doooh!

...as I bow my head in shame....
