Hot power pack

Hot power pack

2003-03-18 by wbuttler2002

Just got my evolver in the mail! It's a solid little box, very nicely
put together. The sounds ... well, need I say more to this group?
Tweaking is easy, and SO addictive.

The universal power pack is a brilliant idea - why hasn't anyone done
this before? One thing though, it seems to run pretty hot (I'm in
Australia, 240 VAC). Is this normal?

I'm in Australia too and mine gets pretty hot as well. Hotter than I would
normally expect from a switchmode power supply, but not too hot that its a
worry. I would expect this to be the same for any mains voltage.
