The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Sounds like the same problem i had about a month back...but i was getting a 
little bit of jibberish (aka some english, somet japanese) on my LCD...but 
sometimes it would be blank...try reseting to the defaults...

I've had my an1x for over 6months now and no complaints... until now. 

In the middle of use the display went clear and the sound stopped. I thought 
it might have overheated so I turned it off for a couple hours and tried it 
again to no avail. What happens now is that the usual welcome to the an1x 
message comes up, etc... then right when it's about to display the voice 
names the display goes blank and the Assign and Scene 1 lights start 
blinking. I tried the factory reset (pressing 7,8,9 during power up ) but 
that didn't work.

Anyone else have this problem? Damn and I just got my new mackie mixer :(
