Interesting point that I can definitely agree with. When I first got my CS60, my thought was, "this is it?" I then realized it wasn't a synth in the traditional sense. I learned how to play it and I was floored. It still kind of trips me out to this day. It's like a violin; you can't just pick it up and play it without learning a bit of technique. It's like a classic acoustic intrument and that is definitely part of it's magic.

Right Matrix. I put the CSs in a different category than the synthesizers, that's because their expressiveness and their ability to sound human aka not perfect make them able to fit everywhere, so I fully quote Hans Zimmer when he says that te CS80 was the only electronic instrument able to sit into an acoustic setup...
