I really am not sure how it comes off......My first Cs 80 had the hatch
but due to a pop spill by an overactive drummer.....combined with a good
insurance agent.... I received a new Cs80 from a store that was
unfortunately hatchless..... and my insurance company kept the old
one......( it sure gets dusty in there without it, especially on the
road)......I believe there are two u shaped channels that the lid would
slide out along however I'm not sure if the lid needs to be up
fractionally to slide , or up the entire way..... force should not be a
requirement.... let me confirm what is left in mine............
