I have the midi kit installed and notice some pitchbend discrepancies (?) where the tuning is a bit off after the wheel on the controlling keyboard is returned to the starting point. It seems it changes the tune slightly.
That's exciting news about being able to give it a midi out. I love the way mine sounds midi'd, I've even midi'd it to an Emulator II that had CS-80 samples loaded into it and it sounded fat, but I've never been able to test the polyphonic aftertouch, since I don't have a PolyAT controller.
Having the CS as a controller would be awesome!!!

The Kenton midi kit as it stands at the moment once fitted reduces
the polyponic glide and glissendo to mono by controller or on the 80
herself. This is not a problem for everyone for sure, but it has
been for quite a few clients who use this feature alot in there
music. This seems to be the case with the new release of the kit
rather than the old version.
But in regards of having midi out with aftertouch on a 80. Well it
is possible and not to expencive but quite hard to fit, useing a old
j-wire midi controller fitted over the top of the 80's keyboard and
cutting into the TSB 1 and 2 boards for the aftertouch. It works
very well but is a bit messy to say the least. Cold Plays 80 had
this very same kind of idea fitted to it but they had me remove it
when KSR80 upgrade was done to it. But it worked and it worked well
while it was in it.
When my 80 is finished I will put some photo's up of her with just
this very kind of midi solution in it :)
