Hi Laurie, thx for your reply; unfortunately the Sustain seems not to affect the pitch; I suspect is more a KAS matter, anyway I'll test Sustain more thoroughly.

No idea Max.... this definatly isnt the pitch deal on a CS80 ..... does this problem effect work the same in both susI and SusII ???

Subject: [POSSIBLE SPAM] [yamahacs80] CS60 weirdness

Hi all

I've sent a message some days ago with no reply.

I'm calibrating a 60 and discovered some weird things:

-if the machine's VCOs are set on 1OCT UP and I play the upper C6 note, then I bend up one octave while pressing the key, the pitch gets stuck and so goes with all the following voices

-with the SubOscillator modulating through rising saw I can clearly see a strange thing on the oscilloscope: the CV signal coming out of the Vca is clearly warped at +0.5V, so there is a distortion placed only at this amplitude.

Can anybody tell me anything about these problems or where and how to look?

Thanks

M
