Hello everybody,

I'm new here. Owning a CS80 is my dream, unfortunately, they are almost impossible to find below $10,000 now, so I think it will remain a dream forever...

So, I recently bought a CS70M instead, and I've got a strange problem with it.

When I play a C or F# and maintain this note while pressing the 4 immediate following notes, those ones stay muted. However, if i do this with starting note other that C or F#, polyphony is properly working.
Eg : C+D+E+F pressed : D/E/F will stay muted. D+E+F+G pressed : all notes are sounding. C+E+G+A pressed : all notes are sounding. If there is more than 1 tone gap between the C and other notes pressed, polyphony is working well...

Do any of you know what could happen ? Broken IC ? I precise the 6 voices / 12 VCOs seems to be working properly.

Another strange problem is after 10 minutes or so, when the power supply seems to heat a bit, the synth will randomly shutdown and power on again, or if not shutdown, the signal suddently get distorted (like if it was underpowered), it stays like this for 5-10 seconds then return to proper functionning state, then goes fuzzy again...

Any clue ?
