Subject: Re: [yamahacs80] Yamaha E70 Voice Cards in a CS80

Hmmm, I wish I didn't have a pesky B2 blocking my E70 up against a wall so I could see. I think you may be right about DCO. The E70 stays in tune so well while my CS50 is the worst synth I have ever seen (for warm up time and stability).

I am getting the E70 to CS80 mod manual from Marc as soon as I send him an email. I'm not going to modify the E70. I'm just curious. I will see if the mod instructions hint at anything. From all the E70 to CS80 conversion info I have been reading people make it sound like its very similar.

But it wouldn't make that much sense that there is an E70 for $600 near me at a pawn shop and on Clist (Hint:an hour west of you Jim) and it hasn't sold and I picked up an E70 in mint condition of craiglsit a few weeks ago...and it was on Craigslist for weeks before I got it. The talk that I've read online says there are somewhere are 21 voice cards in an E70???
