Here's an email that I never thought I'd write....
I'm in the preliminary stage of considering the idea of clearing out my synth collection, the bulk of which consists Yamaha CS series. I was collecting vintage synths from 2005 to 2008 & was very fortunate to come across some really great gear but I'm moving on to other areas of interest in the holistic health field. Anyway, I really feel in love with the Yamaha CS series & managed to collect the entire series:

As well as the SY-1 & the rarely seen / heard SY-20 ( only ever released in Japan for use in the educational system ... sounds awesome! )
There are lots of items from all synth makers but mostly Japaneses manufacturers. Keep in mind I bought many broken synths with plans on getting around to repairing them but I'm not in that frame of mind anymore, so I'll make them available also.
It's funny because I really never thought the day would come when I would ever consider passing these on but I'm learning that the only constant is change. Almost all my gear is currently in storage, so I'll get over there to get some pictures & further details on the gear as time permits.
Without a doubt the CS-80s are the crown jewels & they would be extremely reluctant sales but I'm willing to consider the possibility of letting them go. My 1st CS-80 was bought with one voice not functional & a partially working control ribbon but my 2nd CS-80 was bought with everything 100% functional. They are truly incredible machines! If I do decide to sell the one or both CS-80s, I would not consider shipping them.
Other interesting items ∗could∗ included Teisco 110F, Roland 109 speakers for the System 100, Russina Polyvox & RITM-2 ( both needing TLC ), Yamaha SK-30, Arp Ody MkII ( one working one not ), Arp Solus, Arp Axxe Mk1 & Mk2, Oberhiem OB-Xa needs TLC ( originally owned & customized by Rush with painted candy apple red wood panel to match Niel Pert's drum kit !! ), Korg Synthe Bass SB-1000, 700, 700s, 770, DV-800, Delta, Jen SX-1000, Pro One, Roland System 101 keyboard, Sh-3a, Siel DK-600 for repair / parts, Crumar DS-2 & Stratus, lots of string machines eg RS-202, RS-505, Solina, Orchestrator .... blah blah blah.... :)
I'm located in Southern Ontario & would much prefer local in person get togethers but please keep in mind this is a very preliminary email to gauge interest from perspective local synth enthusiasts. At this point, please consider this a feeler as I haven't put a lot of thought into pricing or other aspects of possible sales.
