Many thanks, Laurie and Tom, I forwarded the hint about VR18 (isn't it, Laurie? I mean that should be the threshold); let's keep fingers crossed...

hey max... check the pots on the back edge of the m card.... the top two are hpf the next 2 are lpf ... and the next 3 are envelope for vcf, i believe 1 is attack time 1 is decay and the other is threshold/ level amount... if that threshold amount is too high, it bypasses the trigger of the vcf envelope....... the pots below that pertain to vca env and etc....

Subject: [yamahacs80] VCF-EG problem on CS-60

Hi people
I'd need some help to solve a problem: a friend of mine has recently acquired a CS-60 in fair good conditions and we're involved with the tuning and calibration process: suddendly we realized that the VCF-EG in voice #7 doesn't work, it seems like the VCF envelope doesn't get the trigger , while the VCA-EG works good.
What controls should we do before surrender and look for a working iG00152?
Thnaks for any suggestion!
Max
