Hi,
I own both a CS80 and the E-70. The filter circuit on E-70 makes it sound somewhat similar, but not the same. There is no tuning problem with the E-70 due to the use of wavetable oscillators.
The buttons are the same as the CS-80 buttons. The funky preset sounds similar but the CS80 is raunchier, much deeper and more powerful (at least on mine). The E-70 is thinner but when you had the organ lower registers it fills out very nicely.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Arun

I was wondering whether I might use one of these to get some custom ICs for the CS80, e. g. oscillators or filters. Are they interchangeable? Kent? Crow?
