Subject: Re: CS-60 Boards and Yamaha Manuals

Hi people,

I've had some offers, the consensus seems to be:

USD $300 for two boards + user pays Postage & Packaging.

Does any one want to comment on this, is it a 'fair' price?

(I'll put 'fragile' on the boxes when sent, but I am looking for some small tough ones to pack them in individually, inside the box, and inside that, they will be in a proper commercial quality padded anti-static-shielded bag, like they were stored in).
Please note these will have to be sent with tracking, I will not send via normal post.

Also notice in the photos that M2 has no wire loom. I was going to try this out for and external, but I only got as far as removing the wires, otherwise this is identical to th others.

I have had these for about 20 years sitting in a metal filing cabinet in anti-static packaging in a box with a small packet of desiccant in each. They were removed from an externally damaged CS-60, but the actual boards were not damaged and were fully functional before they were removed. Even though the case only was externally damaged, the cost of repairs at the time was phenomenal. The boards were therefore clipped from the looms, with some of the wire left with the colour coding. There are 10 boards in total, with all parts intact (no chips were ever removed), these have not been touched since then, I kept them as I was initially going to make a Modular Synthesizer with them. I also have Mint Service Manuals and Owners Manuals for some Yamaha synths and keyboards, including a photcopied GX1 service Manual (Yamaha did not have an original for these, and told me at the time that there was none, so charged me an arm and a leg to copy this!) and original pamphlet from Yamaha.
