HI Max
I dug up my design work for keyboard tracking, and it does not need a voice
assigner, I can do it with a few control shapers. It would only be a hour or
two, but I don't know whether you want me to proceed with making it, or
waiting until we find someone in California with a CS-80. I didn't want to
duplicate your search, and maybe it would be better in fact if you asked on
Yahoo groups because they already know you as a positive contributor there,
whereas I have just been observing from the side. Let me know?
All the best
Ernest

Great video!
Some ideas for the next one: differences between Sustain 1 and 2, velocity
(the famous "peak" velocity waveform with percussive attacks), keyboard
tracking, Wah Wah..these are unique features!
Thanks again!

Subject: [yamahacs80] Added New CS80 YouTube Video
Hi,
I added a new video - having listened to it, I had too much reverb and
the dynamics are so wide that I burnt the camera inputs. I will
eventually redo these ... next time I will go through a compressor
(soft of course). I cannot put a line-input into my video camera so I
will see if I can get a webcam and feed the computer directly.

There are three pieces in here:
The first is an arpeggio sequence where I control the tone with
pressure and velocity and the expression pedal. The second is a brass
patch which I played terribly and fumbled a bit, but chose to leave it
as is for now. The last piece is really using the Funk preset and some
extreme settings and extreme play in the way I am pressing the keys to
get as wide a sweep as possible.
I'm planning to do a sound-effects video next to show how ambiances
and effects of various kinds can be done and I'm also going to show
some tips and tricks with outboard processors and gear for playable
effects textures.
Any reactions are welcome.
Thanks!
