Hi all.
As some you know, I'm taking a short CS80 break and picked up a
Polymoog (the older 203a, which is the synth version but labelled
Keyboard) a week ago. It's in very good cosmetic condition and mostly
working. I should have it at 99% in about a week. I used to own one
about 20 years ago, back when I had my first CS80 (and I owned a
station wagon!).
You can follow my repairs and see the guts here:

service manuals online (all 300 pages of it!), but I can't find an
owner's manual. Anyone have one I can copy/scan? The Poly has a
really weird architecture, which is very flexible, but not very intuitive.
Next, I'm building new legs for it, but can someone tell me how long
the stock legs are?
Finally, the Polymoog has CV/swtich-gate outputs to drive a Moog mono
synth. You can choose to drive it from the upper half, lower-half, or
whole keyboard for cool splits with the built-in sounds. When I had
one years ago I used it drive control a Micromoog that happened to
have a broken keyboard. Anyway, I'd like to test this, so I was
wondering if there was some local (L.A./O.C.) person with a
Minimoog/Micromoog/other switch-gate mono that would be willing to
bring it by to try them out together.
Thanks,
David
