im a lucky stock legs owner. the key to the height is a bar stool. it sits PERFECT. i also find i have better posture at the cs80 on a bar stool, than i do at say a hammond bench-hence more comfort. or maybe its just that colored drawbars are so much better to look at than black and white(sorry, little hammond, i still love you!).

thanks, stephen. that's a solid tip--discrete and a with a relatively small footprint. and cheap too--never a bad thing.
i do like the look and build of original CS80 legs despite their non-adjustable nature (involved sitting on a couple of phone books at a recent recording session) but i can't afford to be fussy at the moment--need the floor space!
cheers,
ted

Subject: [yamahacs80] CS80 legs?
Hi all,
Realize this is a long shot, but thought I'd ask if anyone here has a
spare set of legs they'd be willing to part with, or who might
otherwise be willing to point me in the general direction of a
suitable not-too-ugly substitute? The CS80 will assume a place of
prominence in my living room and I'd rather not disrupt my carefully
curated Danish Modern vibe with an ugly black heavy duty x-stand if
possible...
